We are excited to bring this unique and affordable housing development to Pasadena. Construction is complete and we are accepting applications for move ins. Please note that our last and only available units are $1,223/monthly.

Below are answers to your most frequently asked questions.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN LIVE IN EACH UNIT?

Occupancy is limited by the City of Pasadena Housing Department to one occupant per Studio unit.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?

Eligibility requirements include income-eligibility status and, if the applicant is claiming a local Priority Group preference status, proof of current or previous Pasadena residency and/or employment in Pasadena will be required.

Income limits are set every year by the federal government. They will change again in 2023. Currently, if you earn $52,000 per year or less, you will meet the income-eligibility requirements. Income-eligibility status will be determined once your application has been processed.

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED RENT?

Rents at Pasadena Studios will range from $561/month to $1223/month depending upon your qualified income and the rent level for each unit. The rent will be computed once your application has been processed.

Availability subject to change. Certain set asides may not be available at this time and are on waitlist only. At this time our last and only available units are $1,223/monthly.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Pets will be allowed at Pasadena Studios. All pets must be approved by the management company.

CAN STUDENTS LIVE HERE?

Students may live at Pasadena Studios as long as they meet all eligibility requirements. The table below lists the exceptions per the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. To qualify, full time students must meet one of the exceptions in order to be considered eligible for the program.

IS THIS A SUBSIDIZED HOUSING PROGRAM? DO THESE UNITS QUALIFY FOR SECTION 8 HOUSING?

Pasadena Studios is an equal housing opportunity provider and, as such, housing is open to the general public. Housing vouchers will be accepted within the guidelines of the housing authority's payment standards.

ARE THE UNITS FURNISHED?

No, the units are not furnished.

ARE ANY OF THE UNITS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

No, all units are available as rentals only.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

A limited number of parking spots are available and will be assigned via lottery. However, there are several reasonably priced parking lots located within a short walking distance of Pasadena Studios. Click here to see a list of nearby parking options. (opens in new tab)

ARE ANY UTILITIES INCLUDED? IF SO, WHICH ONES?

Trash and sewer are included in the rent. Residents will be responsible for their own water and electricity costs. The rent has been lowered to offset the typical costs of these utilities.

ARE INTERNET, CABLE, AND PHONE INCLUDED?

Residents will be responsible for their own internet, cable, and phone. Free internet is available, based upon financial qualifications.
